Falls Festival Sideshows

The Falls Festival is one of the bigger indie rock festivals in Australia. Starting as a  Festival in Victoria 18 years ago and then moving to Tasmania about 7 years ago.  It has started to spread its wings to Various other parts of Oz. Last year it spawned a sister Festival  in Brisbane. Next year this 2 day festival is on the 5th and 6th of January.
The first announcement of the Lineup was made today and includes a few bands, I am keen to see.
A few of these have new albums out soon and may well play Glasto next year.
The highlights of the first announcement are, The Klaxons, The National and Interpol another highlight will be New Zealand’s very own Ladyhawke.

Although i am not going to any of these festivals I will be able to see a few bands in Sydney that week.

Last year I saw the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, The View and the editors during the falls sideshow period.

If I was to choose 3 to go this year I think The Klaxons, The National and Ladyhawke would be my favourites.
