All about Glastonbury Festival

If you have heard anyone say that this is a fantastic slice of pop music, then they are right. Bands that make music this good are far and few between and if they had been discovered on X Factor they would now be bigger than sliced cheese and the jward twins put together.

TDCC start things as they mean to go on with Cigarettes in the theater a clever intro asking us to tell them there favourite things.

The single Something good can work is a brilliant 2.38 min’s of pop music, that hooks you as soon as it starts and keeps you keen until the end, it would sound brilliant on commercial radio if it ever got played there.

The album is very strong and when I have the ipod on random i am surprised how often I check to see what band is playing and it is TDCC and not say phoenix.

There is a much better review of the album by an American who reviews pop music on his blog who compares TDCC favorably to Mgmt and Phoenix which is high praise indeed. Link below.

Stand out tracks include Eat that up its good for you and Do you want it all.

TDCC are playing twice during Glastonbury so there is no excuse not to see them.

Completely agree! This week I’ve mostly been listening to the album you have reviewed above and also Detroit social clubs album Existence, it’s brilliant. They are both a “must see” for me.
TDCC on Thursday arvo with a few beers hopefully laxing out in the sun! And DSC on Friday morning to get the blood rushing again!

    • Love your optimism, sitting in the sun Thursday that would be nice !! Although the Queens Head where they are playing is indoors I think.

Ohh good point, but you get my drift! Ever the optimist, even after looking at the following long term forecast for glastos post code!
