Flags and other Distractions – A Rant !

Love em or loath em, flags are here for 2010. Glastonbury is now one of the last festivals that people can happily bring flags along to. Now I am not saying they are a great thing, but they seem pretty harmless, unless you get your eye poked out by one I think it is okay. Especially for a bunch of short friends it sometimes is the only way to find your way back to the middle of one of the main areas when you need to go for a leak.

Things have changed and they will continue to change, you used to be able to bring your dog, and before the steel fence anyone could go, not just those who could afford the price of the ticket.

Has anyone seen the Glastonbury movie, I shudder when  I look back at the old days. So flags are pretty easy to put up with.

What about people who rope off a whole big section around their tent, surely this should be illegal. What do you need to be spending all your time at your tent for anyway. Go camping somewhere else and give us our space back.

Surly stewards get my goat as well. That old guy who compeers the John Peel tent, what a load of toss he spouts. O f course the  toilets are horrible, but what can you expect. The beer is crapsberg and  I still haven’t found a Jack Daniels or Guinness tent. If anyone is aware of either helpful comments appreciated.

I do love the police they are awesome at Glastonbury. Happy and helpful go the boys in blue.

Well that’s my rant, its out-of-the-way, from now on only happy thoughts.

Take your own beer
